Natalie Portman herself did most of the dancing in 'Black Swan': Film bosses

Black Swan bosses have dismissed claims by Sarah Lane that she performed almost all of the ballet attributed to Natalie Portman.

Lane, a soloist with the American Ballet Theatre who worked as Portman's dance double, claims the 29-year-old star only did about five percent of the full body shots seen in the flick.

Lane has also alleged that producers pressured her to downplay her involvement.

But now Fox Searchlight and filmmakers have released a joint statement which reads: “We were fortunate to have Sarah there to cover the more complicated dance sequences and we have nothing but praise for the hard work she did,” reports the Daily Mail.

“However, Natalie herself did most of the dancing featured in the final film,” the statement further said.
