In his upcoming film Trisha Illana Nayanthara, the music director-turned-hero plays a rejected lover. G V Prakash said, “I was told by my friends it is a very complicated role to play early on in one’s career. I believe it’s a bold decision. I honestly believe in the formula of experimenting is key to my success in music and I’m following the same in the acting.”

In the horror-comedy Darling, AR Rahman’s nephew had to confine himself to a certain extent in terms of performance since that character demanded only that much. In Trisha Illana Nayanthara, GVP rakash’s character is a young virgin boy who is bubbly and energetic.
