The 37-year-old 'Hips Don't Lie' singer, who gave birth to son Milan in January 2013, said she is well supported by Pique in handling the baby, reported Hello magazine.

"He is very involved with his son. He is always there for him, and that's a big advantage for me as I cannot imagine it any other way," she said.

"When you have a baby, when you feel his love, you feel so at peace with the world. You just want to share the good news and share how happy you feel," she added.

Shakira said she is in a good space with Pique, whom she first met in 2010. "We already have what's essential, you know? We have a union, a love for each other, and a baby," the singer said.
