The actress says that the moment one takes a loan that one cannot afford, it triggers off a cascading effect on your finances which in turn ruins your love life and at times, the relationship with your partner.

“Have you noticed that we are never happy? The moment we have a car, we want a bigger car. The moment we have an apartment, we aspire for a bungalow. I feel that is the biggest bane of the city life right now. Because that is actually the beginning of greed and it grips us even before we realise it,” she says.

According to the actress, taking loans that is beyond one’s means starts taking a toll on the relationships as well. “This means bigger EMIs so automatically your income becomes limited. You will never realise when EMIs get in between you and your partner even in your bedroom. It doesn’t just affect your day-to-day life, it also ultimately causes a rift between the two,” she adds.

She says that the pressure of city life is such, that one cannot help but buckle under it once in a while. “I have promised myself that I will not aspire to become something that I am not. It all starts with aspiration. Today with everything near your reach with easily accessible loans you think that you can be anybody. But you don’t realise that ‘living for today’ is something that is going to bite you so hard that you will forget that there’s a tomorrow. It is a lesson that we should all learn. Today most couples fight on money and EMIs. If we can eliminate them then love will rule  again,” she ends.
