The release of the much-awaited 'Wall Street' sequel would not be delayed due to Michael Douglas' cancer scare, confirmed rep.Moreover, Douglas is adamant that he would be fine enough to carry out his promotional duties as planned.According to People.com, a representative for Twentieth Century Fox, the movie studio making the follow-up, has confirmed the release date would stay the same and Douglas is expected to walk the red carpet when the movie premieres.The 65-year-old is set to undergo eight weeks of radiation and chemotherapy treatment after doctors discovered a tumour in his throat, reports the Daily Star.There were rumours that the veteran star's illness would affect the upcoming release of 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' which is due to be released on September 24, 2010.
