Meri Pyaari Bindu has already become one of the most anticipated movies of 2017. The innovative story, the unconventional marketing strategy, the superb chemistry and wonderful music have all put the movie on everyone's radars for the next month. With the new song from the movie, Haareya out, here are five things we like about the song and its music video:

1. The Opening: The opening of the song with the quick synth notes instantly leave you bobbing your head. There is no way you can resist moving along to the beginning of the song, which, as compared to the other song released from the movie, ends up being extremely catchy and addictive. Also, the way the video begins by synchronizing the notes in the song with Ayushmann Khurrana going full speed on his typewriter really appeals visually and makes you want to stick around and check out the entire video.

2. The Guitar: Haareya has been sung by popular playback singer Arijit Singh. Arijit manages to make some of his biggest hits work by being minimalist, be it with a piano or with a guitar, like in this song. While the song is in no manner an acoustic number, it carries forward on the strength of its guitar, which just keeps strumming along, providing the song with an urbane and warm feel.

3. Nothing But Love: While lyrics in most Bollywood songs go headfirst into using EVERY ADJECTIVE POSSIBLE to describe the object of the singer's affection, the song pretty much steers clear of that stereotype. Instead, in the entire song, Ayushmann Khurrana simply sings about the fact that he can't help but fall in love with Bindu, and there's nothing else he can do. And the song clearly puts forth the message of love, even if it is in Punjabi.

4. Ayushmann Khurrana's dancing: Let's call a spade a spade here - Ayushmann Khurrana didn't break new ground in Bollywood for being a good dancer. But in the Haareya video, we can't help but fall in love with Khurrana's dancing skills, which go perfectly with the mood of the song, by the way. Whether he's jumping around in the rain with Bindu, rocking out with her at Marine Drive or busting out some Michael Jackson moves (pulling off a really good moonwalk in the process), Ayushmann is making a solid case for being our first and foremost reason for putting Meri Pyaari Bindu on our schedules.

5. Bindu - The Girl of our Dreams: Let's face it - someone like Parineeti Chopra can only be a dream for most of us. And apparently, Bindu's not quite far off. The song's video serves the purpose of establishing Bindu as the stuff that dreams are made of. Little glimpses of Bindu being just as alluring as ever give us the impression of her being ethereal and something we could only think of. The fact that they showed Bindu in the video in short little bursts rather than making her the focus of the entire video is what really sets this right. This move makes sure that it cements Bindu in the minds of audiences as a dream girl, someone we cannot wait to see in theatres a month from now.

Meri Pyaari Bindu releases in theatres on May 12.
