Actor Matt LeBlanc has revealed he was offered the role of Phil Dunphy in "Modern Family" but turned it town because he didn't think he was a good fit.
The 50-year-old actor said he was offered the part, which eventually went to Ty Burrell, in 2009 when his "Friends" spin-off "Joey" had come to an end.
But he didn't take it up as he was enjoying his time out, reported USA Today.
"I remember reading it thinking, this is a really good script, but I'm not the guy for this.
"I'd be doing the project an injustice to take this. I know what I can do, I know what I can't do. Plus, I'm having too much fun laying on the couch," LeBlanc said.
