Actors Andy Serkis and Martin Freeman are set to star in science fiction fantasy Black Panther, Marvel has confirmed.

Serkis will reprise his role as the mercenary Ulysses Klaue from Avengers: Age of Ultron, while Freeman will once again play, Everett K Rose, the US State Department liason to foreign diplomats, following his debut in 2016's Captain America: Civil War, reported AceShowbiz.

The two have joined the previously confirmed stars, Chadwick Boseman, Michael B Jordan, Sterling K Brown, Florence Kasumba, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, and Letitia Wright.

The synopsis of movie reads,

'Black Panther' follows T'Challa who, after the events of 'Captain America: Civil War,' returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T'Challa's mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, the movie is currently filming in Atlanta and is set to hit the US theatres on February 16 next year.
