Actress Mallika Sherawat seems to be on a social networking spree these days. The actress, says a source, likes to stay in touch with her fans through the micro-blogging site Twitter, but the sultry siren uses it only to give out certain select information.

The source points out that most stars usually give out a few details about their lives and their projects at that moment, in a bid to stay connected with their fans. But Sherawat apparently takes to the site only when she is hobnobbing with Hollywood celebrities or when a movie of hers is up for release, points out the source.

Previously, the fire brand girl took to the site when she was at the Academy Awards. Dressed in a daring white shimmering gown, Sherawat posted tweets about how the celebs there praised her Indian looks and said that she “looked divine”. And now, the actress just can’t stop raving about her new item number, Jalebi bai. Dressed in a long skirt and a twinkling bustier, Sherawat has been uploading her pictures from the song and then urges people to check out different links that also talk about her look in the number!

The source adds that she has really been trying to promote her last Hollywood film Hisss, which reportedly didn’t set the box office registers ablaze with the collections. Yup, she tells those who chat with her to watch the television premiere or to check out the DVD.
