Now we hear that the Raees producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar have decided to replace the film's leading lady - Pakistani heroine Mahira Khan. Although a replacement is yet to be found, the team will possibly re-shoot a lot of the film (which has Mahira's character) again.

The Shah Rukh Khan starrer was supposed to release on Eid this year but the makers pulled out of the release and pushed it to January 26 next year, claiming that the shoots were yet to be complete. Many scenes requiring Mahira still needed to be filmed, which is why the producers had to take a firm decision of letting her go. Also, there's a huge negativity about these two films, because of the presence of Fawad Khan and Mahira and the producers aren't willing to face the jolt.

But now that the team is scouting for a replacement, does this mean that Raees will get postponed again? Will the film not hit theatres on Republic Day as planned anymore? Does this also put an end to the clash between SRK's Raees and Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil? We are waiting for the answers...
