Madhuri Dixit getting used to being back in Mumbai
Dixit, who has shifted base to Mumbai from Denver is busy settling down; will soon launch her own website
Actor Madhuri Dixit is currently in the process of setting up her home and getting used to being back in Mumbai. The actor, who had bid goodbye to Bollywood, to settle down in Denver after her marriage to Ram Nene, is back in Mumbai. Madhuri, who has moved here from the US was a little out of touch with Bollywood but is now here to play a new innings.
She first up signed up on social networking sites Twitter and Facebook to keep in touch with her fans and is now in the process of launching her own website.
The actor, who is working on her official website is currently taking suggestions from her fans. Madhuri had asked her followers for their inputs on what they would like to see on the website and subsequently after that she had posted on the micro-blogging site, “Here is first reward... Official Madhuri Dixit website teaser! You can connect now. Looking forward to hearing from you... Thank you for your support.”
Besides charting out her second innings in Bollywood, she is also spending some quality time with her kids. She recently took a vacation with the family and after that spent Makar Sankranti with her kids teaching them to fly kites.
Along with all this, there is something else that is keeping her occupied and that is the much-awaited wax statue that will be unveiled at London’s Madame Tussauds on March 7. Sources close to the actor say that her wax statue reportedly costs 150,000 pounds and it was completed in four months by a team of sculptors and experts in hair, make-up and wardrobe.” Confirming the news, she posted on Twitter, “Madame Tussauds made the announcement and I am confirming it. Will be in London in March to introduce my likeness! Thanks for all your support.”
The actor is also happy to be back on the filmy circuit and was last spotted at the wedding celebrations of actors Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh.
A source close to her says, “She really enjoyed meeting Ritesh and Genelia at their reception. She was happy to be there and meet her friends too. Also, it was quite special to her because they both were reportedly present for her reception 12 years ago.”
