Madhavan to play Arvind Swami’s role in Telugu remake of 'Thani Oruvan'?

Director Jayam Raja’s Thani Oruvan is a superhit. The villain’s role essayed by Arvind Swami was highly appreciated in the movie. The movie is now being remade in Telugu with Ram Charan as Mithrasn IPS, the role played by Jayam Ravi. 

There was talk that Arvind Swami would be roped in for the Telugu version as well. However, it looks like Arvind Swami was not too keen on playing the same role yet again and turned down the offer.

The buzz is that actor Madhavan, who hasn’t been seen for a long time Telugu films, might be roped in for this role. The Telugu version of the film is to be directed by Surender Reddy.
