Lindsay Lohan's dad asks her to stop smoking

Lindsay Lohan's estranged father has launched a desperate attempt to stop his troubled daughter from smoking while she is struggling to give up drugs in court-ordered rehab.Michael Lohan has been banned from visiting his daughter at the Betty Ford Clinic in Rancho Mirage, California but that hasn't stopped him from trying to get his anti-smoking message across, Contactmusic reported.According to reports he has sent his daughter an electric smokeless cigarette as part of a care package and hopes that the Mean Girls star will at least try the device which would trigger a decision to quit smoking for good.The care package sent to the 24-year-old actress also reportedly contained over $8,000 worth of clothing.
