The foundation?s Facebook page shared a video that encourages viewers to participate in the annual fund-raising event.

The video takes the reference from the famous ?Love Actually? scene where actor Andrew Lincoln silently professes his love to Keira Knightley's character using hand-drawn signs.

In the clip, we can see Liam Neeson, Gates, Julia Roberts and others pull the same stunt, while telling the Americans that, every dollar up to one million USD they raise on Facebook until June 15, will be matched by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Donations can be made through a link that comes with the video on Facebook.

?Red Nose Day? is a fund-raising event organised by Comic Relief (which was created by ?Love Actually? writer/director Richard Curtis) with a mission to end child poverty.

A ?Love Actually? sequel called ?Red Nose Day Actually? will air during NBC's Red Nose Day Comic Relief special on May 25.
