The start of the new week was shocking as well as tragic for people around the world who started it with mourning NBA legend Kobe Bryant passing in a tragic chopper accident. As soon as the news broke, several Hollywood stars started paying tributes to the legend through their social media, however, even Bollywood stars couldn't hold back and posted some heartbreaking and loving memories of the NBA star.
Several Bollywood celebrities such as Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, among others shared the news on their social media handles and mourned the loss of a legend.
Akshay Kumar took to social media and shared a photo of Kobe with daughter Gianna. He also penned a heartfelt note for him.
"Speechless, the world has lost a Legendary Athlete, R.I.P The #BlackMamba of Basketball, Kobe Bryant & his daughter, Gianna. What u have done for so many kids including my niece whom u inspired to play basketball every day of her childhood, may u both comfort each other in heaven," Akshay wrote.
On the other hand, Ranveer took to Instagram and wrote, “#rip #kobe.” Meanwhile, Arjun was saddened and shocked by the demise of his favourite player. He shared a photo of Kobe and wrote, “Life is fickle, it all eventually feels kind of pointless. R.I.P @kobebryant #blackmamba #24.”
Abhishek Bachchan also tweeted saying, "Noooooo! shocked about Kobe! He was one of the greatest and such an inspiration. Absolutely gutted. RIP. Strength to his family. #KobeBryant just can’t believe it."
