'KGF: Chapter 2' shoot resumes; Prakash Raj joins exciting cast

The shoot has been resumed for Yash starrer K.G.F Chapter 2 has finally been resumed. The director Prashanth Neel has kickstarted the shoot with none other Prakash Raj who joined the team recently. Neel took to his Twitter page and shared a few candid clicks with Prakash from the sets of the film. In the photos, they are seen reading the script just before the scene is being shot and the actor has suited up for his look. 

Prashanth tweeted, "Welcome on board @prakashraaj, sir. We resume shooting finally for #KGFCHAPTER2. Thank you, everyone, for all the love and excitement towards the movie. Wish us all the luck."

K.G.F: Chapter 2 is the sequel to 2018 film K.G.F: Chapter 1 which starred Yash playing the role of Rocky. The pan-Indian film became a super hit and the second part is much-awaited. In the second instalment, Sanjay Dutt has been roped in to play the main antagonist. The film stars Raveena Tandon in a pivotal role. 

The shooting of the film was earlier delayed to the coronavirus pandemic. Now, after Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with cancer, his sequences will be shot later after his break for the treatment. 

The Kannada film will be dubbed in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu languages and was eyeing for an October 23 release this year. However, makers are yet to confirm the release date.
