Katrina Kaif reached out to Salman Khan before court hearing?

Salman Khan spent an emotional Tuesday night before his court verdict on Wednesday morning. While his producer friends like Sajid Nadiadwala, Aditya Chopra, Boney Kapoor and others reached out to him over the phone, Shah Rukh Khan personally went to his Galaxy apartment and met him before the big day. However, they weren’t the only ones who spoke to Salman.

A source reveals that ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif reached out to Salman and his family over the phone. Not many know that even though they are no longer together as a couple, Katrina is still very close to Salman’s family and especially his sisters Arpita, Alvira and mother Salma. Buzz is that Katrina had a short conversation with them prior to his court hearings the next morning.

Things between Salman and Katrina have remained cordial even after their break up. Salman has always spoken highly of her and even though she’s in a relationship with Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina hasn’t ever let her friendship with Salman get affected. She’s a regular visitor to his place every year during the Ganesh festival.

It is highly unlikely that she will give out a statement in public or to the media about his verdict, but given the fact that she will be interacting with the press for her Cannes visit in the coming weeks, this question will definitely pop up!
