Karan Johar to produce Alia Bhatt's film with Meghna Gulzar

Karan Johar is in the process of finalising a joint production film with another production house. The film in question is Meghna Gulzar’s next, based on Harinder Sikka’s book Calling Sehmat, an espionage-thriller, revolving around the life of a Kashmiri girl who is married to a Pakistani army officer. The shoot will begin in July. Apparently Alia Bhatt had been offered the film before to play the main lead but she had her doubts. After KJo heard the script he convinced her to do it. Now that her Godfather is co-producing it, Alia will come on board for sure.
