Initially scheduled for a June 12 release along with Emraan Hashmi-Vidya Balan starrer Humari Adhuri Kahaani, Tanu Weds Manu Returns has now been moved for a May 29 release. This means that the film will now clash with John Abraham-Shruti Hassan starrer Welcome Back.

Both the film, being sequels to their super successful prequels are riding high on brand value. But a major clash between the two will definitely affect each other's business. The only advantage of the release date will be that the films will release right after IPL ends, which would mean it will have better scope to work at box office.
