She made a strong comeback with 36 Vayadhinile and directors have apparently been lining up to sign her. Jyothika however is particular about the scripts she signs. Now the buzz in Kollywood is that she has apparently singed a film with none other than the Kuttram Kadithal director.

Director Bramma who made his debut with this film catapulted onto the national paltform when the movie won the National Award for Best Tamil film in 2015.

Kuttram Kadithal showcased the strong yet fragile relationship between a female teacher and a young student. It's likely that the script that Bramma narrated to Jyothika will also revolve around a female protagonist. 

Jyothika was supposed to do Pasanga 2 as well but since she saw the Malayalam version of 36 Vayadhinile, she felt that would be a better film to go with.
