Bieber has become the first male singer to have garnered 100 million followers on Twitter.
The 'Sorry' singer is also officially the second person to cross the major milestone after singer Katy Perry who boasts around 103 million followers.
Crowing its new king, Twitter posted a congratulatory video featuring some of the 23-year-old most popular 'hashtags' and captioned: 'In each other's company since Tweet number one. Congratulations @justinbieber on #100MBeliebers'

A new emoji and hashtag have been generated to honour the singer's big moment.
