Julianne Moore slams noisy workouts, juice cleanses

Julianne Moore has revealed that she hates noisy workouts and juice cleanses.

The 53-year-old actress said that she did a juice cleanse for the Golden Globes one year, but couldn't continue it for more than 3 days as the only weight she lost was in her brain, ABC News reported.

The Boogie Nights star added that she doesn't like noisy workouts as it's "just too loud" for her and she does better when she is working out in quiet, like doing yoga at her house, interval running and lifting light weights.

The Maps to the Stars actress, who drinks a lot of water and avoids sodium, continued that she likes classes that don't have mirrors as she believes that it's a time to let go and let the body drop into itself.

She further revealed that she likes acupuncture, which is wonderful for back and hip pain, and I really think it makes your skin look clearer, though it sounds old-fashioned.
