Hollywood superstar Julia Roberts shooting for the movie 'Eat Pray Love' here, looked like a typical backpacker on an India sojourn as she enjoyed a cold drink in a chai stall, surrounded by wandering camels.

Dressed in a green and yellow salwar suit, Julia looked relaxed as she smiled and waved at the large group of villagers and mediapersons who had collected outside the set to catch a glimpse of the Pretty Woman star.

"She will shoot for the scene with Richard Jenkins in a cafe, in a set created in the village. It will include a saree shop and a shack selling colourful idols of Lord Ganesh, very typically Indian," a unit source said.

"We will be heading to Bali after here, for the last outdoor shoot of the film. We are not going to Cherrapunji as planned earlier. The market scene is the last outdoor shoot here," the source added.

Instead of shooting in the village, the production team erected a huge set to depict a bustling Indian market, complete with a travelling circus.

More than 500 people were employed in the construction of the make-belief market, the source informed.

The set was off-limits to the snappers, who gathered outside along with the some 300 villagers who had come to see the shoot.

The crew shooting for the film here is primarily Indian and we don't have a chopper guarding Julia as reported by some media, added the source.

Roberts landed in New Delhi on September 17 to shoot for her upcoming movie Eat, Pray, Love.

The villagers here are happy that the superstar is shooting for the film here and want to make her feel welcome.

"We are happy she is here, we are lucky to have her as she is such a big star. She met me and told me it is a very nice village and that's why they chose to shoot here," said Panchayat member Dr MP Yadav.

Roberts is staying at the Pataudi Palace hotel with her three kids, four-and-a-half-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and two-year-old son Henry, since she landed in India on September 17.

The actress plays author Elizabeth Gilbert in the movie, about a woman who travels around the world in search of love and peace.

The movie directed by Ryan Murphy, also stars Oscar winner Javier Bardem, Billy Crudup and Richard Jenkins.
