Hollywood star Johnny Depp has been famous for more than 25 years.
He has also dated some of the world's sexiest women and settled down with one of them, Vanessa Paradis. So it is natural that he is used to people staring at him.
But when he was in Italy shooting his new movie The Tourist with Angelina Jolie, he was ‘shocked’ by the number of paparazzi that follow her and Brad Pitt everywhere.
“It's right in the neighbourhood of absurd, what they have to put up with,” the Daily Telegraph quoted him as saying.
“I got a taste of it when we were making the movie together. It's very rare that you leave your hotel to get into a boat to go to work, and the guy out front says, ‘There's 30 of them out there in boats’,” he added.
“I guess when Angie had gone to work, they'd come around and wait for me. Angie and Brad handle it so beautifully,” said Depp.
“I don't think I'm capable of controlling myself to that degree. She's a terrific girl. Amazingly kind, smart, funny, strong, most definitely a team player,” he added.
