John Abraham's got a new 'sawari'

John Abraham had gifted his bike to friend and bike-fanatic Sanjay Gupta in April this year. And now he has gifted himself the latest Yamaha YZF R1.

 

Says John, who is crazy about bikes, “When I gave my bike to Gups I needed another one. I chose the Yamaha R1 1000 cc. It’s a super sporty bike with traction control and the latest model from that series. It’s in matte black, limited edition and customised only for John Abraham!”

 

Though John loves speed, he says he is a safe driver, “I always wear a helmet while riding. I have a huge collection of helmets in various colours and styles. I make it a point to pick them from different countries I travel to.”

 

In fact, he claims he has more helmets than jeans in his wardrobe. “I have 14 different kinds of helmets,” he lets on with a sheepish smile. About gifting his bike to Gupta, John says, “I promised Sanjay my bike as he’s a bike lover like me and appreciates a good bike ride. I found the right moment to gift him after the movie’s release.”
