After the events of seven books, subsequent eight movies, and a play, on September 1, 2017, Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley travelled to King's Cross station with their son Albus Severus Potter for he starts his school at Hogwarts with Rose Granger- Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy.

Fans have gathered at King Cross Station's 9 3/4 platform to mark the day. The lucky few who got the tickets to West End production of The Cursed Child are tweeting about planning the day celebrating the occasion.

When one of the fans pointed out that Harry's Godson Teddy Lupin and Victoire Weasley would also be kissing on Platform 9 3/4, Rowling asked fans to respect their privacy.
