JJ Abrams has revealed that he is hoping to make his upcoming sci-fi film ‘Star Wars Episode 7’ as “authentic” as possible.
Abrams told Entertainment Weekly that the people involved in the film are keen to capture the spirit of previous Star Wars outings, Metro.co.uk reported.
The 47-year-old director said that it is going to be an evolving thing and everyone is working really hard to make a movie that feels as emotional and authentic, and exciting as possible.
Abrams added that it was important to be reminded that the saga holds a lot of importance to people as George Lucas’s dream became almost a religion to some fans.
The ‘Star Wars Episode 7’, which is due to begin filming in early 2014, will hit the box office in 2015.
