Even as he clears off his debts, the actor plans to produce a film early next year.

For a while now, it hasn't been a 'Boom' time for Jackie Shroff. Mired in debts, the actor has been trying to pay off dues that arose out of the failure of his multi-starrer production 'Boom'. Thankfully, Shroff is through with his debts and much like Amitabh Bachchan, the actor wants to rise like a proverbial Phoenix. Shroff plans to revive his production company and will kick off a project next year. However, Shroff himself doesn't want to say much. "There are no plans at the moment, but yes, we may do something of that sort next year," he says.

Shroff, it can be recalled, suffered massive losses with the Amitabh Bachchan-led 'Boom' three years ago. He had also produced 'Grahan', 'Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hai' and 'Sandhya'. However, his Kaizad Gustad-directed 'Bombay Central' landed in trouble when an assistant director died on the railway track where it was being filmed. The project was later shelved.
