Buzz is, Amy Jackson wanted nothing to do with the comedy roast show Comedy Nights Bachao, fronted by Krushna Abhishek. “It’s true”, admits her Freaky Ali director Sohail Khan, adding, “Wonderful  girl that Amy is, she does have a problem with the kind of humour Krushna Abhishek subjects his guests to, on Comedy Night Bachao. Also, her Hindi is not up to the mark.”

While she managed to do just about okay with Krushna’s competition Kapil Sharma, the former was beyond her capacity. Moreover, at the time of CNB, she was shooting in Chennai for Rajinikanth-starrer Robot 2.0. “We exempted her from the ordeal of being on CNB,” laughs Sohail.

He adds, “Actually, I was the first to agree to be the guest on the show. My association with Krushna goes back several years. I couldn’t say no to him. Once I agreed to be on the show, the floodgates were opened.”
