Is Shahid Kapoor dating Bipasha Basu ?

Last year there were strong rumours in B-Town linking the newly single actors Shahid Kapoor and Bipasha Basu, which gradually died down as both stuck to the ‘good friends’ stance. But now there’s a fresh bout of gossip doing the rounds in Bollywood of the two ‘good friends’ dating each other. Online reports claim that the two had even gone for a long drive out of town recently. The reports come close on the heel of talks of the growing proximity between the two once again, as they were reportedly spotted at coffee shops and restaurants. Then there were also reports of Shahid recommending Bipasha’s name for his action film, said to be a remake of Knight and Day.

While some insiders insist that there’s love brewing between the two, others insist that the two are ‘just good friends so far’ with more emphasis on the last two words. “Both of them are good-looking singles, so the attraction is bound to be there. But one can’t overlook the fact that both share an easy camaraderie too. That’s why Bipasha had even attended his birthday bash and then at an awards event had chosen to sit next to him. The two have been in touch over Twitter too,” they say.

The duo has always been tight-lipped about the speculation surrounding their love status, and this time is no different. When contacted, Bipasha refused to reply to our messages and Shahid is known to keep mum about his relationships. Interestingly, both the actors have had their separate share of link-ups as well in the recent months. While Shahid was linked to actor Nargis Fakhri, Bipasha was linked to Holly heart-throb Josh Hartnett.
