Actress-director Angelina Jolie is reportedly being considered to helm the upcoming film Captain Marvel, which is set for a 2018.

A recent report suggests that people behind the female-led Marvel superhero movie are interested in Jolie, following her work in Unbroken and have offered her US $20 million for the directing job, reported Aceshowbiz."Having a female director is a priority for them," a source told the magazine.

"She (Jolie) never thought she'd be in such huge demand as a director, and to be courted by Marvel after the Sony fiasco is a huge pat on the back," the source added.

The leaked emails between Sony co-chairperson Amy Pascal and producer Scott Rudin in which Pascal called Jolie 'minimally talented spoiled brat'.
