IPL 2020 finals: Mohanlal spotted at UAE stadium for DC vs MI match

India and Dubai are waiting with bated breath to know what would happen today in IPL 2020 finals. Delhi Captials (DC) and Mumbai Indian (MI) managed to reach the finals and have attracted a huge crowd at the Dubai stadium.

One of the people spotted a few minutes back, was South Indian film actor Mohanlal. For the uninformed, Mohanlal, like most Indian celebrities, had flown down to Dubai two days back for a hoilday.

Mohanlal was seen at the stands of the Dubai stadium in a formal attire. He wore a black shirt with green suit. The camera shifted focus to the actor for a few moments before the match began.

Currently in the match, Mumbai Indians have won the toss and have chosen to bowl the ball before batting. Delhi Capitals are currently at 20 runs with two wickets in three overs.

Actor Mohanlal had jetted off to Dubai for a week-long vacation. The actor flew down after completing the shooting of his upcoming movie, 'Drishyam 2'. The film is a sequel to the 2013 blockbuster.

'Drishyam 2' is reportedly made on a budget of at least five crores. The cast and crew shot for the movie taking COVID-19 precautions, which have become the new norm on sets.

The movie wrapped up earlier than planned, leaving space for Mohanlal to take the vacation, and now enjoy the match live. The shooting of the movie was scheduled for 56 days, but wrapped up in 46 days.

After his mini-vacation, Mohanlal is expected to join the film sets of B Unnikrishnan’s upcoming directorial. The movie's name is still untitled.
