Sources in the managing committee has also confirmed that emergency meetings have been called after it was informed that Shah Rukh  has been advised against dancing for the show. Shah Rukh had earlier tweeted that a few dance steps are being given to him due to his knee.

“We have been told that Shah Rukh won’t dance. He will come on stage to greet the audience and talk, but he won’t be able to dance. Shiamak (Davar, the choreographer) has been informed. His dancers will do all the dancing when Shah Rukh is on the stage,” says an organiser.

Sources say that a medical team has been kept on standby for Shah Rukh and there will be an ambulance on standby during his performance.

“His knee is in a cast as there are torn ligaments and tendons in his left knee area that has not healed. He is not allowed to bend his knee or even stand on it for several hours.  He has been advised to take help of a single crutch, let’s see what he does,” adds the organiser. Meanwhile, sources say that entire area in the first class section was earmarked and cleared off of other passengers to make room for Shah Rukh and keep his privacy. Shah Rukh’s co-passenger on the flight was veteran actor Dharmendra.
