Idris Elba reveals shock over finding out son wasn't his

Actor Idris Elba has reportedly admitted that finding out the son he had longed for wasn’t his was the most “tragic” moment of his life

The 41-year old ‘Luther’ actor said that even though the boy looked nothing like him, “it wasn’t immediately obvious” that his girlfriend, who he met in Florida and dated for a few years, had cheated on him, Metro.co.uk reported.

‘The Wire’ star said that the celebration of having a son from a man’s perspective is massive, and to be given that and then have it taken away so harshly was like taking a full-on punch in the face.

He added that though it was tragic, he wasn’t knocked out, and has been cautious about everything ever since the incident.
