Ramamurthy, who has done many American TV series like Heroes in the past, has now joined hands with TV czarina Ekta Kapoor for the project. But it seems that the actor, who plays an NRI dude, isn’t too kicked about Bollywood as a full-time career option.

Ask him about doing Bollywood films, when he isn’t fluent with the language and Ramamurthy says, “I'm not really concerned with surviving in Bollywood. For me, doing this film was an experiment. I wanted to see what it would be like to film in India in an Indian production. It was very different from filming in Hollywood. It is definitely an experience I would like to repeat but I am also very realistic about my chances at a Bollywood career. Since I don't speak the language, my opportunities will be limited but I accept that. I am happy to do movies like these, which have a part for an NRI. But my career is based in Hollywood and I am happy with having that and being able to dip my foot in Bollywood productions when the right part comes along.”

The actor in this film also has few steamy scenes with Desai, who is also actor Abhay Deol’s girlfriend. So wasn’t he apprehensive?

“Preeti is a great girl and I enjoyed working with her. As for the steamy lip-lock, there is a bit of a love scene but it is very tame by my standards.”

Having done nude scenes earlier will he be open to go nude in B’wood? “My policy is that I do what the part requires. If there was a nude scene in a film and I felt it was integral to the story I would do it. The only time I say no to nude scenes is if I don't trust the director.”

So, does Ramamurthy have more offers from B-town yet? “I have been contacted by other Bollywood productions since filming in Mumbai but nothing that has captured my attention so far. As far as Hollywood offers are concerned, I am currently shooting Covert Affairs by Doug Liman in Toronto, which is keeping me away from promoting the film,” he ends.
