It has been an eventful month for Harish Raj. The actor-film-maker believes that he’s doing the right thing by releasing his second directorial venture, Gun, again.

“The film had made around Rs25 lakh in its near two-week run. In Bangalore, it made Rs6 lakh in the main hall. I’m sure this time we’ll do just as well,” says Harish, who insists that the results are great, considering the ongoing World Cup frenzy.

He is delighted that he has a good theatre in Gandhinagar as his main hall. “I’ve got a good hall in Anupama. We’re also releasing the film in around 15 theatres across the state,” says Harish.

He doesn’t rule out the competition either. “I know there are two big releases with Prince and Sanju Weds Geetha hitting the screens. But, I know people have liked my film. I took the opinion of fans through different mediums including sites like Facebook,” says Harish.

And the film will release without any changes. “The only addition will be a tagline that reads Sharabiya Kharab Love Kahani. This line signifies exactly what my film is about and has a massy feel to it,” he opines.

As for releasing it again, after the entire fiasco where he nearly committed suicide, Harish only says, “I like living on the edge. I am a risk taker by nature. If it weren’t for my persistence to become a lead hero, I wouldn’t have taken to producing or directing films. I’ve learnt with each step. I know this will pay off too.”
