It’s been barely 10 days since her last release, but instead of celebrating the super-success of the Eid release, actor Kareena Kapoor’s already back to shooting. This time for Agent Vinod with beau actor Saif Ali Khan.

“We’ll celebrate once Salman’s back. I am craving for a break, but working with Saif makes it easier to not miss the break too much,” she smiles, looking on at Saif, who despite not having to shoot for the ongoing sequence, has stayed back only for his Bebo. Immersed in his book, he looks up every now and then to exchange an indulgent smile with his lady love. The two seem much at ease, and it’s hard not to ask them about the delay in tying the knot? “We are in no rush, so where’s the delay?” asks Kareena as we catch up with her in a quick chat.

We hear it’s a February wedding…
Yes, we’ve heard it too (laughs). Well, Saif and I are personally committed to each other so yes, even though I feel that we don’t need a paper to formalise our feelings for each other, marriage is definitely on our minds.

And on the cards?
All I can say is that we are both going in that direction, but at present we are only concentrating on our professional commitment that’s our film together. We never hid our relationship, so when marriage will happen, we will let the world know too.

So, it is 2012 then?
Well, you never know… but I won’t say no either.

The trade has apparently dubbed you ‘100-crore heroine’ after your films with Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn and now, Salman crossing that mark...?

Trade tags like numero uno or being at the top mean nothing to me. I’ll be just as happy being labelled number 100. But yes, I am happy being part of the most successful films for sure.

You’ve also finally broken the Bebo-Sallu jinx with the third film…
Well, I’m glad our pairing has worked, but the previous films didn’t have a scope for this kind of chemistry anyways.

What does Saif say about your chemistry with the other Khans?
I don’t know about him, but for me it’s best with Saif, even though it’s hard to choose among the others. They are all so different, as are the films.

Would you work with Shahid Kapoor again?
Co-stars are never a criteria for me while choosing a film. The only thing that matters, is the story, so if there’s an interesting project, sure.

What do you think of competition at the BO?
Where’s the competition? I have always been happy in my own space and the only competition is from my own self. The others can worry about being on top. I’m happy balancing work and my personal life and not sacrificing one for the other.
