There’s a more important connection between these two events. ‘Light The Way’ is an event that has been organised by United Nations, Save The Children and Action 2015 to root for Prime Minister Modi on this all-important day.

On Friday, Modi will address global heads of state at the Sustainable Development Summit hosted by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon when the new and ambitious post-2015 development agenda will be adopted which will include decisions to end poverty, protect the environment and address climate change over the next decade.

Speaking to dna exclusively, musician Raghu Dixit, says, “The fact that children are the future of this world and our country, makes it the obvious that our Prime Minister and the rest of the world leaders take the correct decisions that will focus on eradicating poverty, providing quality education and nutrition for children. I wish our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi all the best and look forward to hear positive decisions made by him on behalf of the children of this beautiful country. The decisions made by him today will shape the better India 20 years from now.”
