Rashmika Mandanna is currently in news for her upcoming movie Dear Comrade with actor Vijay Deverakonda. The actress has been promoting her movie at various platforms, giving back-to-back interviews. It was during one such interview that the actress got into trouble for making 'anti-Kannada' comments.

A section of media reported that Rashmika is not fluent with Kannada and it was a difficult language. For the uninitiated, Rashmika was born and raised in Karnataka. It thus deeply affected Rashmika's Kannadigan fans to know that she found the language difficult.

But what really happened during the interview? The interviewer, while already in a candid conversation with Rashmika, happened to mention that since Dear Comrade is also dubbed in Kannada and she is born in Karnataka, the language would be easier for her.

Rashmika replied to the answer with 'no' adding, "adu kastam....yenaku Aa language correct agi varaadungaa" (It is also difficult...I cannot speak any language correctly)." During the whole interview, Rashmika also goes on to reveal that she is not good at speaking English either.

Rashmika Mandanna was loved for her performance in Geetha Govindham. She was paired with with Vijay Deverakonda in the film, and their chemistry made fans believe that they were a couple in real life too.
