Heard this? Sunil Grover lands in LEGAL soup after complaint filed AGAINST him for CHEATING

Just when we thought that the wave around his fall-out with Kapil Sharma and his eventual walk out from The Kapil Sharma Show has subsided, looks like there's fresh trouble for Sunil Grover. 

Post his exit from TKSS, Sunil has been touring various places for his live shows and has been garnering immense praise as well. As per recent reports, Sunil is to perform in Ahmedabad next on May 27. 

A report on the Times of India states that he is now facing legal trouble for his live show. The report informs that an event organiser, Rajpal Shah, has filed a complaint against Sunil Grover for cheating and criminal conspiracy. Along with Sunil, the complaint has been filed against another event organiser Devang Shah as well. 

Reportedly, Sunil's manager and Devang had committed to Rajpal that one of Sunil's shows would be organised for an event but the contract was breached and now Sunil is to perform at a similar event in Ahmedabad for a higher fee.

Devang was quoted as saying, "We keep on getting 4-5 enquiries for one specific date regarding Sunil's performances in India as well as abroad. In this case, we were not keen on doing the event on May 27 due to another concert happening on the same day. Rajpal Shah also enquired for the possibility of May 20, which couldn't be worked out due to Sunil's tight schedule. I returned him the advance amount of `10 lakh. So there's no case of cheating and I have all the bank statements which I can present for the same."

On the other hand, Rajpal had filed a complaint under section 417 and 120 (B) of IPC. The TOI report quoted lawyer Ashish Desai as saying, "The complaint is under cheating and criminal breach of trust contract. The complainant is at the loss of good-will and must have suffered some financial losses of cancellation charges from the venue, security, hospitality team as well as must have gotten into some problems from the sponsors as well. Although, all of this needs to be proved in the court that's when it will be taken into consideration."
