But a Bollywood trade person tells us, “Alia has liked Lunchbox director Ritesh Batra’s script and is on board principally. It was her mentor Karan Johar, who had co-produced Lunchbox, who got Ritesh to give the actress a narration as he loved the script. Ritesh was initially a little hesitant as he thought Alia was too big an actress to even approach. But Alia loved the story too. Right now the dates and financials are being worked out.”
