Happy Birthday MS Dhoni: When Thala met Thalaiva and left Sushant Singh Rajput blushing

Today, former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is celebrating his birthday. On the occasion of the same, we decided to a slight trip down memory lane when he visited Chennai for the promotions of M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story along with Sushant Singh Rajput, who played the titular role in the film. The cricketer and the late actor met up with superstar Rajinikanth at his residence in Chennai where they had a long chat.

Dhoni who is a part of Chennai Super Kings has been thoroughly loved by people there. He sat beside Rajinikanth and discussed the biopic which was gearing up for a release back then. While talking Dhoni also introduced Sushant to Rajini and heaped on praises on him. SSR couldn't stop beaming with happiness seeing this beautiful sight right in front of him. His eyes twinkled on seeing that his work has been discussed proudly by Dhoni to Rajinikanth.

MS Dhoni hasn't reacted to Sushant's death yet. There were reports that he had isolated himself on hearing the sad news. 

M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story released in 2016 and went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters of that year. The film also starred Kiara Advani and Disha Patani as female leads and Anupam Kher as SSR's onscreen father. 

Meanwhile, Sushant's final film Dil Bechara is all set to get an OTT release directly on Disney+ Hotstar. The film is directed by Mukesh Chhabra and will be streamed on July 24, 2020.
