Shruti Haasan took to Instagram and shared a special throwback picture from her childhood, with father Kamal Haasan, who turned 66-year-old today
Legendary actor Kamal Haasan turned 66-year-old today. He has been receiving special birthday wishes from all his fans, however the sweetest so far has come from his daughter Shruti Haasan.
Shruti shared a throwback picture of her with father Kamal Haasan and it is all things sweet, to say the least. In the photo, baby Shruti, wearing a dress, is seen giving daddy Kamal Haasan a hug.
The father-daugter duo was smiling while looking at something, in the vintage photograph. Neither of them posed directly for the camera.
Sharing the picture, Shruti wrote that she can't wait to see everything that awaits her father. She addressed Kamal Haasan as 'Bapuji, appa and daddy dearest'.
"Happy birthday to my Bapuji, Appa, daddy dearest @ikamalhaasan may this year be another memorable one in your library of splendid years. can’t wait to see all you have in store for the world," she wrote alongside the photo.

Shruti's sister and Kamal Haasan's second daughter Akshara Haasan also wished her 'bapuji' on his 66th birthday. She shared a picture of them and wrote, "Happiest birthday to my friend, my amazing father, and a legend who has set the best example ; not just for me but millions of people. Happiest birthday my Bapuji."

Shruti was the first to share a common birthday display picture for Kamal Haasan as he turns 66-year-old. "It’s my honour to release the common display picture for my dearest father @ikamalhaasans birthday on nov 7 th created by his wonderful loving fans," she wrote while sharing the image.
Kamal Haasan's political party Makkal Needhi Maiam's logo was also party of the common display picture.
Both Shruti and Akshara Haasan, like Kamal Haasan, are actors. They have also taken up singing, one of the many talents that Kamal Haasan also boasts of.
