A source close to the filmmaker threw light on the matter saying that initially, the makers were planning to go hi-tech by roping in a good VFX company. However, the filmmaker felt that the cost of special effects that was close to Rs 14 crores was too high.

The filmmaker and his wife, who is actively involved with his productions decided to try elsewhere. And sure enough another VFX company agreed to do the special effects only for `6 crores. The film has released but they have paid the company only half the amount.
