According to a report in People, the late night show host has been shooting for the cold open, a first for the Globes, and is very excited about it.

Fallon said that a lot people will be involved in the making of the opening and he didn't want to spoil the fun by revealing the names.

But then he let it slip. "But Ryan Reynolds … Someone’s going to be in there. Tina Fey. Uh, but it’s going to be good. Justin Timberlake — and Kit Harington," Fallon told the magazine.

Fallon also took the opportunity to thank the crew and people working behind the camera. He said that people woking on these things for years to make it look easy, deserve a little recognition. He said, "‘Hey, thanks’ because there’s people out there that need entertainment, that need laughs, they need to think about stuff, they need to love more — and these people are all making it happen."

The 74th Gloden Globes Awards will air live simultaneously on Colors INFINITY, Comedy Central, and VH1 on January 9 at 7.30 am
