The trailer for Kannada-language action-packed heist thriller Ghost, headlined by 'Big Daddy of all Masses' Dr. Shiva Rajkumar, was released on Sunday, October 1. The trailer is filled with action sequences and gives a brief idea about the plot revolving around Rajkumar's character taking down a prison hostage.
Ghost has also been dubbbed in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. The official description of its Hindi trailer on YouTube reads, "This action-packed heist thriller, directed by Srini, tells the story of one man's quest for justice. This apart, the film offers a link to the second instalment of Birbal Trilogy, the director's most awaited legal thriller."
"Powerhouse talents such as Dr Shivarajkumar, Anupam Kher, Jayaram, Prashanth Narayanan, Archana Jois, Satyaprakash and Dattanna are part of the film's main cast. The Hindi trailer for Ghost was released by Pen Movies, which will distribute the film in the North Indian market. The trailer in Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil languages were released by the superstars from the three film industries - SS Rajamouli, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Dhanush, respectively.
Set to release in theatres on October 19, Ghost will clash at the box office with the Kollywood action-thriller film Leo, starring Thalapathy Vijay and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The Tollywood action drama Bhagavanth Kesari, headlined by Nandamuri Balakrishna, is also slated to hit theatres on the same date.
A day later, these three non-Hindi films will be challenged by Bollywood as Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, Amitabh Bachchan-starrer dystopian actioner Ganapath, Kangana Ranaut's drama Tejas, and Divya Khosla Kumar's romantic comedy Yaariyaan 2 will release in the cinemas on October 20.
