From Paul Wesley to Jared Padalecki, a low-down on the good-looking men in supernatural shows

Stefan Salvatore played by Paul Wesley and Damon Salvatore played by Ian Somerhalder from The Vampire Diaries have ladies drooling all over them. While Stefan with his voluminous mop of hair is brooding in most part of the show, it is Damon whose grey character and rip-roaring repartees make quite an impact. Combine that with Ian’s killer looks and his baroque-inspired Vampire den where he enjoys fresh blood in a goblet after a day of battling werewolves. Since the show is set in both present times and 17th century era, the brothers look great essaying both the looks.

His net worth is touted to be more than $5 million. Best known as the chocolate dude of the Supernatural series, Jared was noticed in Gilmore Girls in 2000. Supernatural in 2011 attracted an average of 700,000 more viewers each week than Gossip Girl. The plot revolves around brothers, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) Winchester, who lose their mother when a bizarre air current sucks her body up to the ceiling of the family house one night, leaving a bloody, ravaged corpse. A lot of girls who don’t really warm up to this genre are hooked to the series because of Jared can’t-take-your-eyes-off looks.

Slightly more edgier and sexier than his brother Sam, Dean’s bad-boy on-screen character is etched in the minds of Supernatural addicts. The dude was on number 26 on TV Guide’s 50 Sexiest Men List in 2006 and number 2 on TV Magazine’s 50 Hottest New Faces in 2005. Together with hottie bro Sam, his quest to nail the evil spirits and avenge his mom’s tragic death makes him one of the sexiest ghostbusters in the supernatural history.

Towering, impossibly pale and athletic — Eric Northman’s popularity soared to stratospheric proportions after his nuanced portrayal of a hormone-charged vampire in True Blood. The scenes where he is enjoying true blood at Fangtasia are as bewitching as the scenes when Sookie rescues him from the witch Marni’s spell when he is chained. There is an air of softness about him — the vulnerable, nice-gone-wrong appeal due to the turn of circumstances which perhaps makes him the ultimate vampire pin-up sensation. The Adonis sizzled in Calvin Klein’s spring campaign this year. (Guess you aren’t hot unless you star in a CK ad.)

Joe Manganiello



It’s difficult to decide what’s hotter — Skarsgard’s Swedish charm or Manganiello rippling Italian muscles. He is a vampire slayer, loves the always-vulnerable and waiting-to-be-rescued Sookie Stackhouse. The scenes where he transforms from a beefy human into a countervailing werewolf are compelling. Bitchy blogger Perez Hilton had swooned over him stating, “Joe Manganiello and his girlfriend, Bridget Peters, took a seaside break this weekend at Malibu’s The Reel Inn, looking cozy and carnivorous as they enjoyed lunch.”

He might be little elderly looking but years of playing a brooding vampire and drinking blood from humans seem to add to his devilish charm. His pale complexion, sharp facial features and a powerful voice (love the way he utters — “Sookie” with a deep throaty breath) add to his package. The sharply dressed Bill Compton looks lethal all the time — be it the time when he is shooting orders to kill wearing a tuxedo jacket or when he’s enjoying a relaxed candle-lit tub bath with girlfriend Sookie or playing a caring dad to a vampire disturbed Jessica.
