The trailer is finally here and it has everything you'd want.
The much awaited Raees trailer is finally out and it is every bit worth the wait. It has all the masala of a commercial film. Action, drama, romance and, above all, Shah Rukh Khan.
Here are five things we loved about the trailer:
Street-style Shah Rukh
We have seen the suave and urban Shah Rukh in many of the recent movies like Chennai Express or the more recent Dear Zindagi, but this street-style King Khan is a treat for his fans who fell for him after Darr and Baazigar. His threats are not veiled. His fan base, especially among the Muslim community, will look forward to this avatar of the actor that sees him wearing his religion proudly on his sleeve. The trailer even shows him visiting a mosque.
Romancing Mahira
No SRK movie can be complete without the actor wooing a pretty lady. This time around he is singing and dancing with Mahira Khan. A fresh pair, they look great together. Once again, this is a romance that doesn't play out in bungalows and manicured laws, instead this is one that blooms in the gullies and streets.
Dishoom-Dishoom
SRK packs a punch, literally. The actor can be seen firing bullets in a manner that would put an ace shooter to shame. But that's not it, the actor kicks and punches his way thrown the hordes of baddies who come his way.
Nawaz-SRK face off
The trailer begins with Nawaz telling him off for his criminal activity. “Dhandha band kar le varna saas lena bhi mushkil kar doonga,” he threatens Khan. SRK gives him a fitting reply saying, “Gujarat ki hawa mein vyaapar hai Saheb. Meri saas toh rok loge, lekin iss hawa ko kaise rokoge?” You get a glimpse of this cat-and-mouse game between the two in the trailer. And this definitely will be the highlight of the film.
Sunny ka tadka
Sunny Leone makes her debut in an A-List movie. She will shake a leg to the 'Laila Main Laila' number. That she has found her way in the trailer means that the makers are sure this is going to be one dhamakedaar number that the frontbenchers are going to love.
