Farhan Akhtar turns singer for his sister Zoya Akhtar's next, 'Dil Dhadakne Do'

Farhan Akhtar dons multiple hats for most of his films, and even for his upcoming film Dil Dhadakne Do, he played the roles of an actor, producer and singer. From what we hear, Farhan Akhtar has taken up the mic yet another time in sister Zoya Akhtar's next.

 It was an impromptu decision taken by the actor and the team. The lyrics of the track have been penned by Zoya and their father and writer, Javed Akhtar.

Even though Farhan is busy shooting for his next film with Amitabh Bachchan titled Do, he took out time to record the song.

He has finished recording the track for the film. The music has been given by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy for the song.

Zoya’s Dil Dhadakne Do is about a dysfunctional Punjabi family on a cruise trip across the Mediterranean sea and is all set for a June 5 release next year.
