In 2016, Pathak performed at the same place, three stations away from her earlier famous venue Goregaon's Sankalp. Ruparel realty, a major real estate player, is said to be one of the organisers for this year's event.

When contacted, a representative from Ruparel Realty said, "We will be holding a press conference with all details soon."

Member of Parliament, Gopal Shetty, also has an important role to play in organising the event and roping in singer Falguni for the festive season this year. He said, "Dandiya will take place in Borivli, I am not involved in the organisation but being a cultural event I help them in ways possible." He claimed that he has no information on the amount being paid to the singer. Pathak didn't respond despite repeated calls.

Pankaj Kotecha, one of the organisers of Kora Kendra said, "I am told Falguni is performing again in Borivli like last year. Despite this we are sure that the crowd will return to Kora Kendra. We are sure to have a full house again."

Pathak's fees have seen a lot of fluctuation in the last one decade. In 2009, for the first time, she was offered Rs 1 crore. She touched the Rs 2 crore mark in 2013. Last year, it is said, that she earned Rs 1.40 crore, and this year her fees have gone up to Rs 1.75 crore.
